Annual Mission Trip: The original effort for this work started in September of 2000, several people from the Niceville congregation visited their missionary of 31 years, Enrique Romero, in Quito, Ecuador. They realized that a more dedicated effort was needed to help some 28 congregations that had been established across the country. This work evolved quickly and our church family stepped up to take this on as an annual mission trip within three years. Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ takes an average group of 18 people to work in the mission field. The trip is usually two faceted-one work project and one week youth camp for the YOUTH in Ecuador! We have 25 years of experience on this, so if you are looking to see how to take the WORD into the World…look no further. Come see how the world is hungering for HIM!
Missionary Support to Rusty Campbell, Ecuador, South America: Rusty is the Director for Camp Bellevue has a 3-pronged purpose: 1) to serve and bless the local community, 2) to strengthen and build up the Churches of Christ in Ecuador, and 3) to encourage effective partnerships and a passion for missions among churches and Christians in North America…all for the glory of God! Rusty and his family have served in this ministry for over 13 years, with prior work in Japan and Africa. We have supported this work for over 5 years.
Missionary Support to Ricky Gootam, Kakinada, India: Everyone has a purpose in life…mine is to tell about our creator and show His love to others…I am working for God in India as a missionary doing things like preaching in different places, working in the children’s home and an old age home, and working in TV ministry to reach as many as possible. I am a die-hard JESUS fan! We have supported this work for over 10 years.
Missionary Support to Jackson Bianconi, Quito, Ecuador, South America (Year 2 of 3): Although widowed, I thank God that He has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The Lord has been benevolent in bestowing a great number of gifts, which I endeavor to make available to Him and the Church. My outstanding talents are: the gift of gab that includes knowledge, teaching, evangelism, and preaching; as I praise Him with spiritual discernment. I trust the Lord as He continues to guide my steps as I continue to serve Him with love wherever He sends me.
Missionary Support to Josue Soria, Quito, Ecuador, South America, (Year 1 of 3)

Baxter Institute’s sole purpose for existence is to prepare its students to become preachers, teachers, missionaries, and leaders among churches of Christ throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Baxter Institute had its beginning in Mexico in 1964. It was named for Leta Baxter, a sister in California. The work continues…located on a beautiful, 13-acre campus in the sprawling city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Mount Dora Christian Academy and Children’s Home: Since their founding in 1945, they have served as a Christ-centered haven for children and families in need. This story began in 1944…when W.O. Norton called a meeting at the Mount Dora Church Of Christ to determine the location of his dream, a new Christian school in Central Florida. Local congregations donated funds to purchase 70 acres of land in Mount Dora to begin building the “Christian Home and Bible School.”
Churches of Christ Prison Ministry: We plant the seed…God provides the GROWTH. He changes prison lives into productive lives. Every person is made in God’s image. His message can reach into the hearts of men and women who have lost their way, helping them to function more positively within the prison environment, and preparing them for a successful re-entry into society.
Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team (DRT): As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Gal 6:10 (ESV) task before us is to bring the Good News of the Gospel to disaster survivors. Our commitment is to strengthen the local church. Many people and organizations will come and go during the course of a disaster, but it is the local church that can be the enduring reminder that love and support was found and help was given. Therefore, we commit ourselves to work with the local congregations to effectively and efficiently serve disaster survivors in Christ’s name so they will find truth and hope.
